Hi, I’m Roni! I’m a photographer based in Pickerington and Columbus, Ohio. I started ilene photography in 2018, at first as a hobby. I loved to capture the beautiful little moments of life - hanging out with friends and family, delicious food, and beautiful sunsets. Then, it blossomed into the amazing opportunity that it is now - my very own business.
When I started brainstorming for a business name, I wanted to choose something more than just my name. I wanted the name to be something that left a lasting impression on me, that would be immortalized in time - just like every single photograph. I chose the name "ilene". I chose ilene to honor the loving memories of my twin sister and my grandmother.
Everyone has certain memories that they hold on to. But some memories seem so distant until we pick up an old photograph from what feels like a lifetime ago. Suddenly, we're back on the beach with our old high school friends making plans and dreaming about the future. A photograph is more than just a picture of the past. It is tangible proof of a lifelong memory.
